The Fudge Factory, Inc. is an Artist Sponsor this year, co=sponsoring The Freight Hoppers' performance. This is a family-owned, second generation confectionery established in 1982, with Tony Owens taking ownership of his family's company in December of 2008. The Fudge Factory currently has one retail store on the Historic Public Square in Dahlonega, where the store's confectioners make a large variety of fudge, along with other handmade Southern confections and hand-dipped chocolates.
Baked on Main, which is an Artist Sponsor this year, is teaming with The Fudge Factory to co-sponsor The Freight Hoppers' performance. The bakers, which opened for business on Dec. 6, 2013, and is an artisan bakery specializing in hearty wholesome breads made with all organic flours and local ingredients. Handmade pastries, cakes, pies, tarts and cupcakes are offered for retail sale at the bakery or wholesale to restaurants and specialty grocery stores in the Dahlonega and North Georgia area.
